Bluetti Apex 300 Review
A 2.8 kWh station built as the starting block of a larger system, with split-phase 240V support and expansion to 58 kWh.
The Apex 300 makes sense if you want to start small and grow. One unit gives you 2,765 Wh and 3,840 W, enough for the essentials. Add battery packs and Bluetti's 240V setup and it scales to a 58 kWh home system. Bought on its own for a single outage, it costs more per kWh than the alternatives; on sale at $1,499 (seen late October 2026) the math is much better.
Who it's for
Buy the Apex 300 if you want to cover the essentials now and plan to add capacity and 240V circuits later, for example as part of a solar build-out.
Skip it if you need 240V for a well pump from day one and want one box. Check exactly which Bluetti setup the listing requires for 240V; split-phase output on this line can need linked units or Bluetti's home panel. The Anker F3800 Plus does 240V on its own.

| Expandable to | 58 kWh |
| Continuous AC output | 3,840 W |

What it can run
You get about 2,350 usable watt-hours after inverter losses.
hours ≈ 2,765 × 0.85 ÷ watts used
- Refrigerator, router and LED lights (about 220 W average): roughly 11 hours.
- Typical fridge only (about 100 W average): roughly 24 hours.
- Fridge, freezer, lights and a furnace fan (about 780 W average): roughly 3.0 hours.
The 3,840 W output is generous for a 2.8 kWh battery, so it can start a sump pump or run a microwave alongside the fridge.
Pros and cons
What we like
- Expands to 58 kWh, more than the Anker or Jackery
- 3,840 W output on a mid-size battery
- 2,400 W solar input
- Deep discounts during sales
What to know
- Only 2.8 kWh in the base unit
- 240V needs the right Bluetti setup, not just one box
- About $868 per kWh at list price
How it compares
| Model | Capacity | Output | 240V | List price | Per kWh |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bluetti Apex 300 | 2,765 Wh | 3,840 W | Yes | $2,399 | $868 |
| EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Plus | 3,072 Wh | 3,600 W | No | $1,599 | $521 |
| Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus | 3,840 Wh | 6,000 W | Yes | $2,799 | $729 |
| Bluetti Elite 200 V2 | 2,073 Wh | 2,600 W | No | $1,699 | $820 |
For 120V essentials only, the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Plus gives you more battery for less. The Apex 300 earns its place when you plan to expand.
Bottom line
A good buy on sale for people building toward a larger solar-backed system. If you want one box for 240V today, choose the Anker F3800 Plus or Jackery 5000 Plus.
